Bloom

Welcome to Bloom. Five artists, five rooms, one theme. Take your time and wander through the gallery.

On desktop: use W A S D or the arrow keys to walk, drag to look around, or click the floor to walk there. On your phone: left thumb to walk, right thumb to look around.

Before the colour arrives. Before the shape unfolds. Before the feeling finds its voice, there is the stirring.

For Bloom, five artists were selected whose work approaches the theme from entirely different perspectives. Dina Belenko finds the next cycle of bloom in dark corners, staging tulips that slip through doors, rise from drawers and grow out of a skull. Kylli Sparre lets figures drift through dark water, suspended between stillness and transformation, in the time before we know what we are becoming. Sara Fraysse isolates a bench, a window, a clock and a lighthouse, and lets colour, geometry and negative space turn familiar places into quiet, contemplative forms. Martina Dorigatti works in torn paper and red, her analogue collages catching the threshold where an inner life force bursts through old casings. Clemens Maurer takes Yayoi Kusama’s language of repetition and pattern as a starting point, then lets dots spread until clothes swell into petals, wings and unfamiliar organisms, turning a moment of loss into a celebration of emergence.

Together, their works remind us that bloom is never just a flower. It is patience, rupture, and the moment something becomes more fully itself.
